Kiwi CS-20 Hot Shoe Extension Bar 200mm

Kiwi CS-20 Hot Shoe Extension Bar 200mm | Add distance for accessory placement

Put a hot-shoe accessory farther from the camera, giving you more room to position it in your setup. The Kiwi CS-20 is a 200mm hot shoe extension bar, suited to photographers who need extra distance between the camera’s hot shoe and an accessory mounted there. Its appeal is straightforward: it changes where that accessory can sit, without asking you to hold it in place by hand. That can help when the position right on the camera isn’t the one you want. The 200mm length is the key detail when deciding if it suits your setup; it gives you a clear measurement to work from. It’s a simple piece of kit, so the main thing to consider is whether that reach is useful for the way you arrange your gear.

Consider the placement

An extension bar is about creating space, not adding a new function to the accessory itself. Think about where you want the accessory to sit and whether moving it away from the camera will help with your arrangement. The CS-20’s stated length gives you a concrete starting point for that decision. If you already have a particular position in mind, compare it with the available space in your setup before choosing this bar. That’s the practical question here: will the extra distance make positioning easier for your needs? The product name identifies it as a hot shoe extension bar, but doesn’t identify particular camera or accessory systems, so this description makes no compatibility claims.
