Kondor Blue KB-501ABP-QR 501 Quick Release Receiver & Plate Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-501ABP-QR 501 Quick Release Receiver & Plate Space Grey | Faster changes with a 501 quick-release setup
Changing a camera setup can take less fuss with a dedicated quick-release receiver and plate. The Kondor Blue KB-501ABP-QR is a 501 quick-release receiver and plate in Space Grey, for camera operators and crews who want this type of connection as part of their rig. Its job is practical: the receiver and plate give you a quick-release arrangement, so you can work with your setup without treating every change as a fresh build. That can be handy when you need to remove a camera between tasks or move it between prepared positions using the same arrangement. The product name identifies the 501 format, so it’s best considered for a setup already designed around that format rather than as a universal fitting. Space Grey gives you a neutral-looking finish for a rig where colour coordination matters. It’s a focused piece of kit; the useful question is whether the rest of your setup is built for this receiver-and-plate arrangement.
Specialist Note
The Kondor Blue KB-501ABP-QR is a quick-release receiver and plate for making changes within a 501 setup. I’d look at it for a camera build that needs to come off its support between jobs, or move between two prepared positions; the practical route is to have each position arranged for the same receiver-and-plate format. The 501 name matters here: it identifies the specific arrangement this product is named for, rather than promising a fit with every rig. Space Grey is a restrained finish if you prefer your camera accessories to keep a consistent look. My honest advice is to treat this as a format-specific part, not a universal adapter.
