Kondor Blue KB-ARCA-REC-BK Arca Swiss Receiver-Camera Plate Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-ARCA-REC-BK Arca Swiss Receiver-Camera Plate Raven Black | A camera-side link for Arca-Swiss setups
The defining decision is the Arca-Swiss receiver-and-camera-plate format: this product is made to give the camera a connection point within that mounting system. That makes it relevant to people arranging a camera rig around Arca-Swiss hardware, particularly when they want the camera-side part of the setup to be clearly identified rather than adding an unspecified cable accessory. The name describes it as a receiver-camera plate, so its purpose is in mounting, not carrying or connecting a cable. Raven Black gives the finish a restrained look alongside camera equipment without making colour the main point of the product. It suits camera operators who already work with an Arca-Swiss arrangement and want a plate specifically named for the camera side. Its most useful role is a straightforward one: keeping that camera-to-mount connection within the Arca-Swiss system. The title doesn’t establish use with any particular camera model, so I’d choose it by the mounting system you use, rather than by camera brand alone.
Specialist Note
In a rig built around Arca-Swiss, this gives the camera side of the setup a specific, consistent job: it’s the receiver-camera plate, rather than a cable part. I’d consider it for a one-camera support setup where the camera needs to sit within that mounting arrangement, or when you’re organising a camera rig around Arca-Swiss hardware. The useful check is the system you’re building around; the product name identifies Arca-Swiss, not a particular camera model. Raven Black keeps the finish understated, while the plate’s stated role is the more important detail in everyday setup. It’s a focused part, so it makes sense when Arca-Swiss is already central to your rig—not as a general-purpose camera accessory.
