Kondor Blue KB-C70AP-BK C70 Adapter Plate For C80 Cage Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-C70AP-BK C70 Adapter Plate For C80 Cage Raven Black | Pair your C70 with the C80 Cage
Build a C70 setup around the C80 Cage with an adapter plate made for that pairing. The Kondor Blue KB-C70AP-BK C70 Adapter Plate For C80 Cage Raven Black is a tripod accessory for someone putting together a rig with these specific components. Its purpose is clear from the name: it provides an adapter plate for the C70 in a C80 Cage setup. That makes it relevant when you want to base your configuration on the C80 Cage rather than choose a different cage arrangement for the C70. The Raven Black finish gives the product a clearly specified colour to match against the rest of your setup. This is a focused accessory, not a general-purpose plate: its appeal is in addressing the C70-to-C80 pairing. If that’s the combination you’re building around, this is the part to consider.
For a specific rig combination
The model name is useful when you’re sorting through rig parts: KB-C70AP-BK identifies this as the C70 adapter plate, while “For C80 Cage” names the cage pairing it’s intended to address. Keep that pairing in mind when planning a build or looking for a replacement plate. The product is best understood as a targeted link between those named parts, rather than as an accessory for cages in general. That specificity is its main practical advantage—and its main boundary.
Specialist Note
This adapter plate gives the C70 a direct route into a C80 Cage setup. I’d look at it when you want to build around that named combination, instead of changing your plan to suit a different cage. The C70 reference tells you which camera setup the plate is for; the C80 Cage wording makes the other half of the pairing clear, so you can keep the decision tied to your actual rig. It suits filmmakers assembling or adapting a C70 configuration around the C80 Cage. One point to keep in mind: it’s specific to this pairing, so it isn’t the plate to choose for an unrelated cage setup.
