Kondor Blue KB-MXLR-16 Mini XLR To XLR For For BMPCC & C70 Blue 16"

Kondor Blue KB-MXLR-16 Mini XLR to XLR for BMPCC & C70, Blue, 16″ | A short lead for close camera setups

When a BMPCC or C70 setup needs a short link between Mini XLR and XLR, this is the kind of cable that earns its place: it joins those connector formats without adding a long run to a close camera arrangement. The Kondor Blue KB-MXLR-16 is a blue, 16-inch cable intended for BMPCC and C70 use. That gives it a specific job rather than making it a catch-all lead. Its compact length suits connection points that sit near one another; if your layout spreads them apart, a short cable can limit where you place things. The blue finish is easy to distinguish visually among the parts of a rig. For an operator building a nearby connection around one of the named cameras, the appeal is straightforward: a clearly identified Mini XLR-to-XLR cable in a short length. It keeps the choice simple, provided that connector pairing and reach are what the setup calls for.

Planning the cable run

Think about the actual path between the two connection points, not just the straight-line gap. A cable has to follow the shape of the rig, so the useful reach can be less than the distance you first estimate. With a short lead, a tidy route is easier to plan when the relevant connections are together, but there’s little spare length for a wide detour. That’s the honest trade-off: this length makes sense for a compact layout, not for routing across a spread-out arrangement. Keep the cable path in mind while positioning the camera-side and other equipment; then you’ll have a better sense of whether this short link suits your setup. Treat the stated length as a layout constraint, not just a product detail: it affects how much freedom you have once the pieces are positioned. This is a practical fit decision, rather than a cable with lots of roles to cover.
