Kondor Blue KB-PYX-SP PYXIS Cagesystem Side Plane Plate Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-PYX-SP PYXIS Cagesystem Side Plane Plate Space Grey | A dedicated side plate for PYXIS cage builds
For a PYXIS cage build that calls for a side-plane component, the Kondor Blue KB-PYX-SP PYXIS Cagesystem Side Plane Plate Space Grey gives you that specifically named part in a Space Grey finish. It’s listed as a tripod accessory, and its name identifies its role as a side plane plate for the PYXIS cage system. That makes it relevant to photographers and filmmakers planning a rig around that system, or looking for this particular plate as part of their setup. Think of it as one defined piece of a cage arrangement, rather than a complete cage or a general-purpose plate. The Space Grey finish is a practical detail to consider when you want the visible parts of a rig to share a consistent colour. If your setup calls for the PYXIS side-plane piece, this product keeps the choice focused on that component.
The product name is useful here: it tells you both the intended cage system and the plate’s position in it. Use that to judge whether this is the specific side component your PYXIS cage build calls for, rather than choosing a plate on colour alone. It’s a straightforward, purpose-named accessory for a particular setup.
Specialist Note
The Space Grey finish gives this side-plane piece a restrained look on a PYXIS cage build, without drawing attention away from the rest of the rig. It’s a single plate, so I’d think of it as one specific part of the setup—not a shortcut to a complete cage. It suits someone putting together a PYXIS cage system who needs this side-plane component; use it in that role and keep the rest of the build planned around the cage parts you need. My honest advice is to buy it for that defined purpose, rather than expecting a general plate with broader uses.
