Kondor Blue KB-TRIG-UM URSA Mini FX6 Trigger-Top Handle Run/Stop Rec Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-TRIG-UM URSA Mini FX6 Trigger-Top Handle Run/Stop Rec Space Grey | A direct way to trigger off-camera flash
Getting a flash out of the camera’s hot-shoe position can make portrait and product lighting much more flexible, but you need a trigger to fire it remotely. The Kondor Blue KB-TRIG-UM is a flash trigger and transmitter for that job: it sends the signal to fire an off-camera flash, so you can work with light placed away from the camera. It’s aimed at photographers who want to shape portraits or control reflections and shadows when photographing products. A single off-camera flash can give you a clear starting point; move its position to change how the subject is lit, rather than relying on light from the camera position. The product name also includes URSA Mini, FX6, Run/Stop and Rec, so it’s worth noting that this is the full model name as supplied. Its listed purpose, though, is triggering off-camera flashes.
Specialist Note
For a one-flash portrait setup, I’d begin with the flash off camera and use the transmitter to fire it as you work through the lighting. The Run/Stop and Rec wording in this model’s name points to recording controls, so it’s an unusual detail alongside its flash-trigger classification; I wouldn’t assume those labels describe extra flash functions. The name also calls out FX6, which helps distinguish this particular model when you’re discussing your setup with us. It suits photographers working on portraits or product shots who want to place a flash away from the camera. Keep expectations focused on that job: firing the flash, rather than adding unlisted lighting controls.
