Kondor Blue KB_SFX3_BASERIG Sony FX3/FX30 Basis-Rig Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB_SFX3_BASERIG Sony FX3/FX30 Basis-Rig Space Grey | A clear starting point for your rig
Building a camera setup can get confusing when it’s unclear which accessories are intended for your camera. The Kondor Blue KB_SFX3_BASERIG is a Space Grey base rig named for the Sony FX3 and FX30, so its role is clear: it’s a starting point for a rig built around either of those cameras. It suits filmmakers and camera operators who know they want a rig foundation and prefer to build their setup in stages, rather than choose an accessory with a different purpose. The Space Grey finish gives you a colour reference when selecting other parts for a coordinated-looking setup. This is a focused product, not a general answer to every camera setup question. If you’re putting together an FX3 or FX30 rig, its camera-specific identity makes it easier to choose a starting point with a defined purpose.
Specialist Note
This has a deliberately narrow role: it’s a base rig, not a stand-alone solution for every camera need. That focus is exactly why I’d consider it for a build around the Sony FX3 or FX30. Start with the rig intended for your camera, then choose the rest of your setup around the way you plan to work. For a video setup built around either body, that gives you a clear first step instead of starting with an unrelated accessory. The Space Grey finish is a nice consideration if you want the visible parts of your setup to feel coordinated. I’d choose it for the camera-specific purpose first, and treat the colour as a welcome extra.
