LaCie DJI Copilot 2TB USB-C USB3.1 SD Card Slot Backup On-Se

LaCie DJI Copilot 2TB | Keep on-set backup simple

When you’re working on set, leaving camera files scattered across cards makes it harder to keep track of what’s been backed up. The LaCie DJI Copilot brings together 2TB of storage, an SD card slot and USB-C connectivity in a device described for on-set backup. It suits photographers and video makers who want a dedicated place for their media during a shoot, rather than treating each memory card as the only copy. The title also specifies USB 3.1, so you can identify the connection standard when comparing it with your existing setup. Its appeal is straightforward: storage capacity and an SD card slot are part of the same product, with on-set backup as its stated purpose. That’s a focused job, not a promise of a complete production workflow. If your main need is to keep card-based material together while working, this is the LaCie Copilot to look at.

Made for a specific backup task

The useful distinction here is the combination named in the product: a 2TB capacity, an SD card slot and USB-C, with USB 3.1 also specified. That gives you concrete details to weigh against the way you handle media on a shoot. The Copilot is presented for backup on set, so the product’s purpose is clear; it isn’t described as a general collection of editing or camera features. For a working photographer or filmmaker, keeping a backup destination in mind is part of managing a shoot’s files. This device puts that purpose in its name and pairs it with a stated capacity. One honest point: the title tells you what connections and slot it has, but not the wider workflow around them. Choose it for the on-set backup role and the listed SD card slot, rather than assumptions about other functions.
