Laowa 4.5-10mm f/2.8 CF Zoom Fisheye - Nikon Z (VE451028NZ)

Laowa 4.5-10mm f/2.8 CF Zoom Fisheye - Nikon Z (VE451028NZ) | Bold fisheye views with framing flexibility

Expect dramatic, curved perspectives that make close subjects feel striking and architectural spaces feel expansive. This zoom fisheye is for Nikon Z photographers who want a deliberately unconventional look, rather than a neutral, everyday view. Its changing angle of view gives you room to adjust your composition: keep more of a scene in frame, or tighten the view around a subject without changing lenses. That makes it especially appealing for creative work, action and architecture, where the shape of the image is part of the idea. Use it to emphasise leading lines, bring foreground detail forward or give a fast-moving subject an energetic setting. The fisheye rendering is distinctive, so it won't suit every scene; that's also what makes this lens interesting when a standard perspective feels too predictable. Manual focus rewards a considered approach to composition and focus.

Making the fisheye perspective work

For architecture, place strong lines deliberately within the frame and decide whether their curvature supports the composition. For action, get close enough for the subject to command attention, while leaving space around it to show the surrounding scene. Small changes in camera position can make a big difference to the finished image.
