Laowa Ranger Bajonet Canon RF (Lao-Bran-RF)

Laowa Ranger Canon RF Bayonet: Adapt a Ranger zoom for RF cameras

Without a compatible mount, a lens stays tied to its existing camera connection. The Laowa Ranger Canon RF bayonet is a user-replaceable Canon RF mount for the Laowa Ranger S35 and S35 LITE 11–18mm zoom lenses. It replaces the lens’s existing bayonet, so you can configure one of these Ranger zooms for a Canon RF camera setup without replacing the lens itself. That makes the part relevant to crews changing the camera system used on a production, or building a kit around an RF camera while keeping a compatible Ranger zoom in rotation. The lens’s zoom range is useful for framing a broad interior and then tightening the composition on a subject; the bayonet provides the mount connection that makes that lens usable in an RF setup. It’s a specific component for two named Ranger lens versions, rather than a general adapter for other lenses. For owners of either compatible zoom, the important detail is straightforward: this is the Canon RF replacement bayonet, supplied as an original Laowa part.

Mount and handling

• Canon RF mount: The replacement bayonet gives the compatible Ranger zoom an RF connection. That’s the key detail when configuring the lens for an RF camera setup.
• User-replaceable mount: The bayonet is intended to be changed by the user. You can select this mount when adapting a compatible lens, rather than treating the lens as permanently fixed to its original connection.
• For Ranger S35 zooms: It fits the Laowa Ranger S35 11–18mm zoom lens. The specific match matters: this is a lens-side component for that model, not a general-purpose mount.
• For Ranger S35 LITE zooms: The same bayonet is also listed for the Ranger S35 LITE 11–18mm zoom. Owners of the LITE version can use the same specified mount type.
• Replacement bayonet: This part takes the place of the lens’s existing bayonet. It changes the lens connection; it isn’t a second lens or a separate camera-side accessory.
• Original Laowa part: It’s an original component from the lens maker, intended for the named Ranger zooms. That keeps the selection focused on the manufacturer’s specified compatibility.
• Black finish: The bayonet is black, matching the supplied product description. Its finish is useful to know when identifying the part in a kit or matching it with the lens.
