Leofoto BV-5 Fluid Video Head
The Leofoto BV-5 is a lightweight, easy-to-use fluid video head designed for demanding filmmakers and wildlife observers. Built from aluminum and weighing just 528 grams, it offers smooth, controlled movement in a compact and travel-friendly design.
This video head works with any tripod fitted with a 3/8-inch mounting screw and is suitable for use with spotting scopes, DSLR cameras, and video cameras. Thanks to the fluid damping system and long pan handle, you can capture steady pans and effortlessly follow fast-moving subjects.
Smooth Control and Precise Positioning
The BV-5 features a 28 cm handle with a soft rubber foam grip for comfortable operation, even in cold conditions. The handle can be mounted on either the left or right side, making it adaptable to your preferred setup.
Two built-in bubble levels help you align the head quickly and accurately, while the QP-70N Arca Swiss quick-release plate makes it easy to position your camera or spotting scope. A 3/8-inch accessory thread on the side provides space for optional accessories such as a magic arm.
Made for Pan, Tilt, and Tracking Work
With a tilt range of 90° forward and 75° backward, plus full 360° rotation, the BV-5 gives you the flexibility needed for video work and panorama shooting. The wide 50 mm base plate includes a fine degree scale for more precise panning.
Friction can be adjusted easily using the large control knob, allowing you to tailor the movement to your gear and shooting style.
