Marumi Slim Fit Circ Pola Filter 77 mm

Marumi Slim Fit Circ Pola Filter 77 mm | Control reflections and deepen skies

The slim-fit design keeps the filter’s profile low, helping limit the chance of the frame appearing at the edges of a wide-angle image. This Marumi circular polarizing filter suits photographers who want to manage reflections and sky tone while shooting, rather than relying solely on editing later. Rotate the filter to adjust its effect: reflections on water or glass can become less prominent, and a blue sky can look deeper when the camera’s angle to the sun is right. It’s particularly useful for landscapes, architecture and scenes with reflective surfaces, where glare can hide detail. A polarizer won’t remove every reflection, and its effect changes with the light and your position, so it’s worth checking the view as you turn it.

Key features

• Circular polarizing effect, adjusted by rotating the filter
• Slim-fit design for a lower-profile frame
• 77 mm filter size

Getting the most from a polarizer

Look for reflections you’d like to reduce, then rotate the filter while watching the scene through your camera. The effect is often strongest when you’re shooting at roughly a right angle to the sun. With a broad view of the sky, the change can vary across the frame; a small adjustment to your composition may give a more even result.
