Mofage Poco Drop-In Filter Adapter Advanced Kit

Mofage Poco Drop-In Filter Adapter Advanced Kit: Control light and add drop-in effects

A full lens set can mean juggling different filter sizes, while a matte box adds bulk at the front of a camera rig. The Mofage Poco Drop-In Filter Adapter Advanced Kit pairs a Sony E-to-PL lens mount adapter with a quick-change filter system at the rear. It’s aimed at filmmakers and camera operators using PL lenses on Sony E cameras who want filtration close to the mount rather than a large front-mounted setup. The kit includes a variable ND cartridge for controlling exposure, plus diffusion filters and an Orange Streak filter for shaping the image. That gives you a compact option for a daylight scene where you want to manage incoming light, a softer, lower-contrast look for a portrait, or a linear flare effect for a more stylised shot. The filters swap into the adapter, so one filter system serves across compatible PL lenses instead of requiring a separate screw-in filter for every lens diameter. The Advanced kit brings together the adapter and several creative filter options, with a clear cartridge included for shooting without an effect filter in the optical path. It’s a considered setup for a cinema or mirrorless rig where front-end space matters.

What the filter system does

• Quick-change cartridges: A button on the side releases the filter for swapping. That makes changes direct on a rig, without unscrewing a filter from the front of a lens.
• Black Mist in two strengths: The kit includes 1/8 and 1/4 filters. They soften highlights while retaining shadow detail, with two levels available for different degrees of diffusion.
• White Mist in two strengths: The 1/8 and 1/4 filters create a faded, lower-contrast look. Having both strengths lets you choose a subtler or more pronounced treatment.
• Replaceable mount ring: The adapter’s mount ring can be changed, and the kit includes an Allen key for the swap. This gives the adapter a route to other mount configurations with a compatible replacement ring.
• Arca support rail: The adapter includes a support rail with a 1/4"-20 thread. It provides a mounting point for rig support and accessories.
• Pure Clear cartridge: A clear filter is included for times when you want to use the drop-in system without adding a visible filter effect.
