Mofage Pro Duo Series FSND & Glimmer
Mofage Pro Duo Series FSND & Glimmer - four ND strengths plus two Glimmer grades
A bright scene calls for more control over the light, while a softer-looking image calls for a different filter effect. The Mofage Pro Duo Series FSND & Glimmer is a filter kit for the POCO filter adapter, combining four ND strengths with two Glimmer grades and four Pure Clear filters. It’s for filmmakers and photographers who use that adapter and want several filter options in one set. Choose from ND 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 or 1.2 to suit the light and the look you’re after; the Glimmer filters are available in 1/8 and 1/4 grades. The set also includes flexible and fixed filters: the flexible filters are used together with fixed filters, and the filters can be changed or stacked to create different effects. That gives you a choice between adjusting the ND strength, selecting a Glimmer grade, or building a combination from the supplied filters. It’s a specialised kit, rather than a universal filter set: its stated fit is the POCO filter adapter.
Filter options and combinations
- Four ND strengths: The 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 filters give you a choice of ND values within the kit. Select the one that suits the scene rather than relying on a single ND filter.
- Two Glimmer grades: The 1/8 and 1/4 filters offer two grades of the named Glimmer effect. Having both in the set gives you a direct choice between them.
- Four Pure Clear filters: These are included alongside the ND and Glimmer options, adding four more filters to the set.
- Flexible and fixed filters: The kit combines both types. Its flexible filters are intended for use together with fixed filters, so the two types work as combinations rather than as unrelated alternatives.
- Stackable and interchangeable: Filters can be stacked and swapped to make different combinations. That’s useful when you want to change the effect by changing the filter arrangement.
Specialist Note
The problem this set removes is having just one filter option for every scene: here, you can change the combination instead of being tied to a single effect. I’d use the four ND values as the first decision when light control is the priority, then add one of the Glimmer grades when you want that filter’s effect in the image. The 1/8 and 1/4 choices give you two distinct grades to choose between, and the stackable, swappable design makes experimenting with combinations part of the kit’s purpose. It’s aimed specifically at owners of a POCO filter adapter, and the flexible filters need a fixed filter alongside them.
