Mofage Talos Damping Magic Arm

Mofage Talos Damping Magic Arm | Position accessories with controlled adjustment

A monitor needs a quick angle change mid-setup, or a wireless unit needs a secure place beside the camera: that’s where the Mofage Talos Damping Magic Arm earns its space. This two-section arm extends to 28 cm and folds to 14 cm, with an adjustable ball head at each end for positioning accessories around your rig. Both ends have 1/4"-20 screws, so you can mount a monitor, action camera or compact wireless unit directly. Its silver exoskeleton-style body has purple and green accents, and the open construction keeps the look distinctive without adding bulky solid sections. Use it to bring a monitor into view, shift an accessory clear of a control, or set a small camera at a different angle. The arm has three adjustment points and a central locking knob, so the end heads and middle joint secure together rather than needing separate adjustments. A damping structure adds friction while you position it, and retractable locating pins help resist accessory rotation at the mount. It’s a useful bit of rig hardware when careful placement matters as much as a firm hold.

What the arm does

• Ball heads at both ends: Each end can pivot, giving you a choice of angles for a monitor or another mounted accessory. The two heads work alongside the central joint for three points of adjustment.
• One central locking knob: A single control tightens the two ball heads and the middle joint together. That coordinated lock is handy when you’ve found the accessory position you need and want to secure the whole arm in one action.
• Damped movement: The arm’s damping structure adds friction as you position it. The design is intended to hold its current angle even before the screw is fully tightened, so the accessory doesn’t immediately flop out of place during adjustment.
• Retractable locating pins: Positioning pins at the mounts help prevent an attached accessory from twisting. That matters when the mounted device is being adjusted or its controls are being used.
• Toothless joint design: The joints use a toothless construction intended to reduce wear. It supports smooth repositioning over repeated adjustments, rather than relying on interlocking teeth at the joints.
• Quick release of locking force: One turn of the locking control releases 80% of the locking force. That makes it quicker to reposition the arm than loosening each joint separately.
• Adapter included: The supplied 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 adapter provides an alternative threaded connection for compatible accessories. It’s useful when the accessory you’re mounting has a 3/8"-16 thread.
