MOJOGEAR Lavalier Microphone w/ Lightning Connection 3 Meters
MOJOGEAR Lavalier Microphone w/ Lightning Connection 3 Meters | Keep speech close to the recording
Without a separate microphone, speech is often recorded on the phone from wherever the phone happens to be; a lavalier puts the microphone near the person speaking. The MOJOGEAR Lavalier Microphone is for people making spoken recordings who want the mic to stay with the speaker rather than rely on the phone’s position. It suits interviews, short explainers and personal messages, as well as anyone recording a presentation on a device with a Lightning connection. The main advantage is practical: you can focus on speaking while the recording device sits somewhere convenient. That can make it easier to keep your hands free and your delivery natural. It’s a straightforward option for voice-led recordings, rather than a microphone for recording a whole room or a musical performance. If most of what you record is speech, this simple, close-to-the-speaker setup is what it’s best suited to.
Specialist Note
At a seated interview with your recording device on a table, the 3-metre lead gives you room to keep the device back while placing the microphone near the speaker. I’d use that arrangement for a conversation or a short piece to camera, keeping the cable routed so it doesn’t tug as the speaker moves. The Lightning connection is useful when your recording device has that port: it gives you a direct connection without describing a separate adapter setup. This suits someone recording spoken content on a compatible device. One honest point: it’s a wired microphone, so the lead still links you to the device; plan its position before you start.
