myFirst Camera Insta Thermal Sticker Pink Blue Yellow (Colour)

myFirst Camera Insta Thermal Sticker Pink Blue Yellow (Colour): Capture and print keepsakes

Most snapshots stay on a screen or need a separate printer; the myFirst Camera Insta Thermal Sticker prints a picture in about 10 seconds using thermal paper. This colourful Insta camera is aimed at children and combines photo and video capture with instant prints, including prints on sticker paper. The pink, blue and yellow colours add a playful look, while the built-in selfie lens gives children another way to frame a quick portrait. For a family day out, they can capture small moments and print a keepsake soon afterwards; at home, sticker prints can be added to a notebook or decorated with the supplied stickers. The camera also records video at 1920 × 1080 and saves photos and clips to the included 32 GB microSD card, so it has a role beyond printing. A selection of filters gives children ways to change the look of their pictures before printing. Thermal printing uses no ink cartridges, and each roll is rated for about 50 sheets. It’s a cheerful camera-and-printing setup for children who enjoy making something physical from their pictures, with the added benefit that printed images don’t need time to dry.

Highlights

• Prints in about 10 seconds: Press the print button for a quick paper copy, handy when a child wants to share a picture straight away.
• Thermal printing: The camera prints without ink cartridges, so there’s no printer ink to replace.
• Sticker-paper option: Use sticker paper for pictures that can be placed in a scrapbook or decorated. The package also includes decorative stickers.
• Photo and video capture: Record video at 1920 × 1080 as well as taking photographs, then keep the files on the included memory card.
• Selfie lens and filters: A dedicated selfie lens suits portraits, while the filter selection gives children simple ways to vary the appearance of their pictures.
• 2.4-inch colour IPS screen: The rear screen provides a display for framing and viewing images on the camera.

Good to know

The camera’s 1500 mAh battery takes around 2.5 hours to charge. A roll of thermal paper is rated for approximately 50 prints, which gives a useful sense of how quickly children might get through a roll during a craft session.
