Nanlux FL-45E Motorized Fresnel Lens 16-50 Degrees For Evoke 5000B
Nanlux FL-45E Motorized Fresnel Lens 16-50 Degrees For Evoke 5000B | Adjustable beam control
The defining design choice is a Fresnel lens that can change its beam angle, rather than a fixed spread. That gives the Evoke 5000B a way to move between a concentrated pool of light and broader coverage with the same accessory. The Nanlux FL-45E suits lighting crews who need to shape a light for different positions within a studio or controlled set. Use a narrower beam to keep illumination on a subject or a specific area; open it up when you want more of the scene covered. It’s a focused tool for changing how the Evoke 5000B distributes light, rather than adding another light source. If your setup calls for adjustable beam coverage from this fixture, the FL-45E puts that control in a motorized Fresnel attachment.
Specialist Note
The beam angle changes by motor, so you can move from a tight 16° pool to a broad 50° spread without treating the Fresnel as a fixed-angle attachment. I find that range particularly practical when one Evoke 5000B needs to serve different parts of a set: use the narrower end to keep a portrait subject lit without spreading the beam as widely, then open it up when you want to include more of the background. It suits lighting setups where controlled coverage matters. One point to keep in mind: 50° is the widest angle this lens offers, so it’s for shaping the beam within that range, not for a wider spread.
