Nanlux NL Mount Reflector 15 Degrees For Evoke 2400B/5000B
Nanlux NL Mount Reflector 15 Degrees For Evoke 2400B/5000B | A narrow beam for deliberate light placement
When a light spreads across more of a scene than you want, it can be difficult to give one area its own emphasis. The Nanlux NL Mount Reflector 15 Degrees is made for a more directed approach: its 15-degree angle helps concentrate the light from an Evoke 2400B or Evoke 5000B into a narrower beam. That makes it relevant to lighting setups where you want to pick out a subject or place a controlled accent, rather than illuminate a broad area evenly. It’s a specialist accessory for Nanlux Evoke users who want more control over where their light falls. The NL Mount identifies the fitting, while the stated angle gives you a clear starting point for deciding whether this reflector suits the coverage you need. If broad, even spread is the goal, this narrow-angle option may not be the right tool.
For a small subject detail, aim the beam at the area you want to draw attention to and refine the light’s position until the coverage sits where you need it. For a background accent, direct it at the chosen patch rather than washing the full backdrop. The key is to treat the 15-degree spread as a focused pool of light: placement matters, and small changes in aim can shift the emphasis in your scene.
Specialist Note
“Will this reflector give my Evoke a tighter beam?” Yes—the 15-degree angle is the reason to choose it when you want light concentrated on a smaller area. I’d suggest it to an Evoke 2400B or 5000B user shaping a subject highlight or adding a background accent: aim the light at the precise patch you want to pick out, then adjust its position to place the coverage. The NL Mount is useful here because it’s the fitting specified for those Evoke lights, so you’re choosing an accessory for that system rather than a general-purpose reflector. One honest limitation: a narrow beam won’t suit every broad-coverage job. For that, you’ll want a wider spread.
