The Laowa Nanomorph series features compact anamorphic lenses specifically designed for Super35 sensors. Weighing in at under 390 grams each, these lenses offer versatility for various shooting scenarios. With a consistent 1.5x anamorphic squeeze, they effectively avoid the "mumps" distortion while retaining their signature characteristics. The lens's short minimum focus distance allows for creative composition flexibility.
Specifically, the 27mm T2.8 lens boasts a focal length of 27mm and an aperture range that spans from T2.8 to T16. Built with 13 aperture blades, it yields a shallow depth of field and smooth bokeh effects. The lens also features a minimum focusing distance of just 43cm and a generous field of view of 70.8 degrees, making it an excellent lightweight option at 313 grams.
The Nanomorph lenses come with three distinct flare options: amber, blue, and silver. This silver variant features a neutral flare color that adapts beautifully to the color temperature of the light source.
Designed with convenience in mind, the mirrorless lens mounts for the Nanomorph models are interchangeable. The lens package includes a single bayonet mount, with additional mounts available separately.
