Nedis Cable CAT6 S/FTP RJ45 (8P8C) M-RJ45 (8P8C) M 10m WH

Nedis Cable CAT6 S/FTP RJ45 (8P8C) M-RJ45 (8P8C) M 10m WH | A 10-metre link for a tidy setup

When the equipment you need to connect isn’t right beside the network point, a longer cable can save you from rearranging the room. This Nedis cable is 10 metres long, with an RJ45 (8P8C) male connector at each end. Its CAT6 S/FTP designation identifies the cable type, while the white finish is easier to blend into a light-coloured room or run along a pale wall. It suits a home or workplace setup where the connection needs to travel some distance between points. The useful thing here is straightforward: you get a generous reach and matching connectors at both ends, without choosing a cable with a different connector format. There’s no mystery to its role; it’s a wired network cable for a run where a short lead would come up short.

Before you route it, think about where the cable will actually go. The path around a desk, along a skirting board or behind furniture can take more length than the straight-line distance between two points, so measuring the route is more helpful than guessing from the room layout. Keep the run where it won’t be caught under a chair or pulled when furniture moves. That’s especially worth doing with a cable this long: a little planning makes it easier to keep the connection tidy and the floor clear. White can be a practical visual match in a bright space, though it may be more noticeable against darker surfaces. For a fixed setup, decide where you want the cable to sit before connecting it.
