Nedis Cable CAT6 S/FTP RJ45 (8P8C) M-RJ45 (8P8C) M 5m WH

Nedis Cable CAT6 S/FTP RJ45 (8P8C) M-RJ45 (8P8C) M 5m WH | A five-metre wired network connection

What sets this Nedis cable apart is its clearly specified combination: CAT6, S/FTP, male RJ45 (8P8C) connectors at both ends, and a five-metre length. It’s for someone who needs a wired network link and already knows the connection points they need to join. The same connector type at each end makes the layout straightforward: one end goes to each matching socket. Its length gives you some room to route the cable between those points, rather than having to place connected equipment side by side. The white finish may also suit a space where a lighter-coloured cable is preferred. There’s no need to read more into the name than it says; the useful details here are the cable category, shielding designation, connector format and length. Check those against the connection you’re planning, and you’ll know whether this is the cable you meant to buy.

Planning the cable run

Think about the route between the two RJ45 sockets, not just the distance between the devices. A cable may need to pass around furniture or follow an edge, so allow for that path when deciding if this length suits your setup. The connector format is given as 8P8C RJ45, with a male plug at each end. That makes the key check simple: both connection points need to accept that type of plug. CAT6 and S/FTP are also part of the product’s stated specification, so you can compare those labels with the requirements of your network installation. The cable is white, a practical detail to consider if it will remain visible along its route.
