Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 1.00m Round PVC Black Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 1.00m Round PVC Black Label | A short link for nearby network ports

When two nearby network ports need connecting, a long cable can leave a loose coil in the way. This Nedis cable provides a short, direct connection, with an RJ45 male plug at each end and a stated length of 1.00m. It suits a setup where both connection points have RJ45 sockets and you want to keep the cable run compact. The cable is CAT6 and U/UTP, with a round PVC covering in black. That makes it a straightforward option for a wired connection between nearby equipment, rather than a run across a room. One metre is worth measuring against your actual route; leave a little slack so the cable doesn’t have to be pulled tight. It’s a simple way to avoid storing spare cable where you don’t need it.

Choosing the right cable length

Think about the path the cable needs to follow, not just the straight-line distance between the two connection points. A route around the edge of a desk or behind equipment can use more length than you might expect. If your ports are close together, a short cable can help keep the area neater; if the route is longer, this one may not reach. That’s the honest trade-off with a 1.00m cable. Its round shape and black PVC covering are useful details to note when planning where it will sit, but the main decision is whether that length suits your layout. Measure first, especially if the connection points are tucked away or the cable needs to pass around furniture.
