Nedis CAT6 Network Cable | RJ45 Male | U/UTP | 0.25 M | PVC | Grey

Nedis CAT6 Network Cable | A short link for nearby network connections

For connecting nearby network points without a long run of spare cable, this compact link keeps the connection route short and easy to place. The Nedis CAT6 Network Cable has male RJ45 connectors, U/UTP construction and a length of 0.25 m. It suits a setup where the devices or connection points are close together and you want a cable sized for that small gap. The grey PVC cable has a straightforward job: provide a short wired network connection. At 25 cm, it’s better suited to a close connection than to routing between distant parts of a room. If you’re planning a neat arrangement around a desk or other compact setup, that short length is the main reason to consider it. There’s no extra cable to coil up when the connection only needs to cover a small space.

When a short cable makes sense

A cable this short rewards a little thought about where the connected points sit. Picture the route the cable needs to take, including any space around the connections, rather than measuring only the gap between the devices. That helps you judge whether a short lead will reach without being pulled taut. In a compact arrangement, less loose cable can mean less to move aside when you’re working around the setup. If the connection needs to travel across a room or follow a longer route, this isn’t the length to choose; it’s intended for a close connection. At Renz, we’d look at the actual distance first and choose a cable length that lets the connection lie comfortably in place. Simple, and much easier than trying to hide a loop of excess cable.
