Nedis CAT7 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 5.0m Snagless Round LSZH Black Label

Nedis CAT7 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 5.0m Snagless Round LSZH Black Label | A five-metre wired link

Your network setup gets a direct, five-metre wired connection between two RJ45 sockets. This Nedis CAT7 cable is for a fixed link between network equipment, such as a router and another device with an RJ45 port. Its male RJ45 connector at each end makes the connection straightforward: plug one end into each socket and route the cable between them. The round black cable is a practical fit when you want a clearly visible run along a desk or around the edge of a room. The snagless design is intended to make it easier to handle around other cables, while LSZH identifies its low-smoke, zero-halogen construction. That combination makes this a considered option for a tidy indoor network setup. One honest point: five metres gives you some routing room, but it’s still worth thinking through the cable path before you place your equipment.

Planning the cable run

A wired connection suits equipment that stays in one place and has an RJ45 socket. Measure the route between the two connection points, allowing for the way the cable will run around furniture or along a wall rather than measuring only the straight-line gap. This helps you judge whether the available length will reach without pulling the cable tight. For a desk setup, you can keep the run beside the work surface; for equipment on separate shelves, plan a path that won’t leave the cable underfoot. The round shape is easy to recognise when tracing a run among other leads, and the black finish may blend in more neatly with darker equipment or furniture. Keep the cable’s route accessible if you expect to move either device later. It’s a simple accessory, but a little planning can make the finished setup easier to live with.
