Nedis Coaxial Cable 90dB IEC (Coax) M-IEC (Coax) F 2.0m WH

Nedis Coaxial Cable 90dB IEC (Coax) M-IEC (Coax) F 2.0m WH | A simple link for IEC coax connections

What sets this Nedis cable apart is its male-to-female IEC coax connection: it’s made to link equipment with the corresponding coax sockets, rather than join two identical ends. It suits anyone arranging a straightforward coax connection at home, especially when the equipment at one end needs a male plug and the other needs a female socket. At 2.0 metres, it gives you a defined cable length to work with when placing connected equipment. The cable is white, so its appearance may suit a light-coloured room or setup. Its 90dB rating is part of the product name; I’d keep that figure as a rating rather than read more into it without further information. If the connector types match your setup, this is a direct cable option without extra adaptors to account for.

Planning the connection

Before setting up, identify the coax connection at each end of your equipment. This cable has one male IEC coax plug and one female IEC coax socket, so its two ends serve different roles. That detail matters: the cable is intended for a connection where those two connector types are needed, not for every coax arrangement. The length gives you a practical limit for how far apart the connected points can be, with some slack needed for the route. For a tidy installation, plan the path first and avoid stretching the cable tight around furniture or equipment. Those are simple checks, but they help you choose the right cable for the connection you actually need.
