Nedis Coaxial Cable 90dB IEC (Coax) M-IEC (Coax) M 10m WH
Nedis Coaxial Cable 90dB IEC (Coax) M-IEC (Coax) M 10m WH | A 10-metre coax connection
The 10-metre length is the defining choice here: it gives you room to place a coax connection where a shorter lead won’t reach. This Nedis cable has male IEC coax connectors at both ends, a 90 dB rating and a white finish. It suits a setup with matching female IEC coax sockets at the two connection points, and is most useful when those sockets are some distance apart. The connector format is clearly stated, so you can compare it with the sockets you need to join before choosing. Its white colour may also be a practical match for a light-coloured room or cable run. This is a straightforward cable, rather than a bundle of added features; the main decision is whether its connector type and length fit your setup.
Planning the connection
Before routing a cable, measure the path it needs to follow, rather than only the straight-line distance between the two sockets. A route may need to go around furniture, along a wall or past a doorway, and those turns take up some of the available length. Leave enough slack to make the connections comfortably, without pulling the cable tight. If you’re replacing an existing lead, compare the ends as well as the reach: both ends on this cable are male IEC coax, so the sockets at each end need to accept that connector.
The white finish is worth considering when the cable will remain visible. It may blend more quietly with a pale wall or skirting than a darker lead, though the route and room colours will affect how noticeable it is. For a longer run, take a moment to decide where the cable will travel before connecting it. That helps avoid an awkward route or discovering that the chosen path needs more length than expected. The useful question is simple: do you need a male-to-male IEC coax link of this length?
