Nedis Digital DMX-Cable 110 Ohm | XLR 3-PINS Male - XLR

Nedis Digital DMX-Cable 110 Ohm | XLR 3-PINS Male - XLR | A clearly labelled cable for DMX setups

Your DMX cabling is easier to identify when the cable is labelled for the job: this Nedis model is a digital DMX cable with a 110-ohm rating and an XLR 3-pin male connection. It suits anyone putting together or maintaining a setup that uses DMX and needs to distinguish that cable from other leads in a kit. The useful thing here is the specific combination of DMX, impedance and connector information in the product name. You can compare those details with the connection requirements of your setup before choosing it. The title identifies an XLR connection at the other end, too, though it doesn't specify its gender. That’s a detail worth matching to your equipment rather than guessing. If you’re sorting cables for a working setup, the clearly stated format makes this one easier to identify when you’re packing or laying out leads.

Choosing it for your setup

Start with the connection you need at each end. This cable is named with a three-pin male XLR on one end and an XLR connection on the other; use those details to compare it with the sockets and plugs in your DMX signal path. The wording is specific enough to help with that check, but it doesn’t describe the second connector beyond calling it XLR, so don’t assume its gender from the name.

The 110-ohm rating is another identifier to compare against the requirements of your DMX setup. It’s better to make that check from the equipment or cabling guidance you’re working with than to infer performance from the number alone. This listing gives you the cable type and key connection details; it doesn’t give a cable length, so length should be considered separately when planning your route. That practical check can save you from choosing a cable that doesn’t reach where you need it to go.

In short, this is a straightforward option to consider when you specifically need a digital DMX cable with the stated XLR connection format. Match the plug arrangement and rating to your setup, and you’ll know whether this particular cable fits the job before you add it to your cabling plan.
