Nedis Power Strip w/ Surge Prot. 6-Way 3 M 3500 W 16 A Grounding: PE Plug

Nedis Power Strip with Surge Protection, 6-Way, 3 m, 3500 W, 16 A, PE Plug | More connections, with surge protection

Without a power strip, each device needs its own wall socket, which can make a desk setup awkward to arrange. This Nedis model brings six connections together in one strip and adds surge protection, making it a practical option for a home office, editing desk or other spot where several devices share a power source. Its 3 m cable gives you some room to position the strip away from the wall socket. The stated ratings are 3500 W and 16 A, and it has a PE plug for grounding. That makes it worth considering when you want several plugs in one place and surge protection is part of your choice. It’s a straightforward piece of kit; the main thing is to think through where the strip will sit and how you’ll route the cable.

Planning your setup

Before placing the strip, picture the route from the wall socket to the spot where your equipment will connect. A longer cable can help with positioning, but it still needs a sensible path that won’t get caught under furniture or across a walkway. It’s also worth adding up the power requirements of the devices you plan to connect and comparing that total with the strip’s stated rating. The strip’s six connections let you bring several plugs to one location; they don’t change the power needs of the equipment itself. For an editing area, that can make a group of powered devices easier to arrange around a single strip. Choose the position with both access and cable routing in mind.
