Nedis Subwoofer Cable | RCA Male - RCA Male | Gun Metal Grey

Nedis Subwoofer Cable | A direct RCA link for subwoofer setups

The useful thing about this Nedis cable is its simple, specific job: it’s a subwoofer cable with an RCA male plug at each end. It suits a setup where the audio connection for the subwoofer uses RCA sockets, and you want a cable with matching plugs rather than a lead with a different connector. The gun metal grey finish gives it a darker look among your other cables, though the main reason to choose it is the connection type. Before buying, consider how your subwoofer and audio equipment are arranged, and whether an RCA connection is the one your setup calls for. There’s no need to overcomplicate this kind of purchase: match the plugs to the sockets, then consider the cable’s route through your room. For a straightforward RCA subwoofer connection, this is the cable to look at.

Choosing the connection

RCA male plugs are designed to connect to RCA sockets. That makes the connector ends the key detail to compare with the equipment you plan to connect. The subwoofer label describes the cable’s intended role; it doesn’t tell you which particular devices it will suit, so base your choice on the connections available in your setup. Also think about where the cable will run, so you can judge whether this type of lead makes sense for the arrangement you have in mind. Its gun metal grey colour is a small visual detail, but may be welcome if you prefer a darker cable finish.
