Nedis USB-Cable USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB-C M USB-C F 60 W 4K@60Hz 5 GBPS Nickel 1m PVC | Adds one metre of USB-C reach

When a USB-C cable falls just short of where you need it, this Nedis cable gives the connection extra reach. It has a male USB-C plug at one end and a female USB-C socket at the other, so it works as an extension between a USB-C cable and a device. Its listed data rate is 5 Gbps, with USB 3.2 Gen 1 specified. The title also gives support figures of up to 60 W and 4K at 60 Hz; the connected equipment and the cable being extended need to support the relevant function too. At one metre long, it adds a modest amount of reach rather than taking over a desk. The connectors are nickel and the cable has a PVC covering. It’s a straightforward option when the cable you already have is the right one, but needs a little more length.

A simple extension for an existing setup

This is a cable for extending a USB-C connection, not a replacement for a cable with a different connector at either end. That makes it useful when the plug on an existing cable doesn’t quite reach a port comfortably. The female socket accepts the USB-C plug you’re extending; the male end connects onward to a USB-C port. Keep in mind that an extension adds a connection point, so use it where that extra reach is genuinely helpful. The figures in the title describe the cable’s stated capabilities, but the result in a real setup also depends on the connected devices and the cable already in use. If you simply need a short USB-C extension, this one gives you a clear, practical set of figures to compare against your needs.
