Nitze Cage For Atomos Shinobi II w/ Lens Hood (JT-A06B)
Nitze Cage For Atomos Shinobi II w/ Lens Hood (JT-A06B) | Cage and hood for your Shinobi II monitor
Keeping an Atomos Shinobi II monitor as part of a camera setup can leave you wanting a more dedicated way to house it and shade its display. The Nitze JT-A06B pairs a cage for the Shinobi II with a lens hood, bringing those two pieces together for monitor use on a rig. It suits filmmakers who rely on the Shinobi II for checking framing while recording interviews, events or other video work, especially when working where bright surroundings make a screen harder to view. The cage gives the monitor a dedicated housing, while the hood helps shade the display from surrounding light. This is a specific-fit accessory rather than a general-purpose cage: its named match is the Atomos Shinobi II. If that’s the monitor in your setup, this combination keeps the cage and hood choice straightforward.
Specialist Note
“Does the JT-A06B fit the Atomos Shinobi II, and does it come with a hood?” Yes: it’s a cage for that monitor, with a lens hood included in the product name. I’d look at it if you use the Shinobi II as your on-camera viewing screen and want the monitor housed with a shade around the display. For outdoor interviews, set the screen so the hood helps keep ambient light off it; on a rig, the cage gives the monitor its own housing as you work. The point to keep in mind is the fit: this is specifically for the Shinobi II, not a universal monitor cage.
