The Olympus OM-2 Spot Program, also known as the OM-2SP, was the most advanced manual-focus camera in the OM-series. Released in 1984, this model combined full manual control with both aperture-priority AE and a newly introduced program mode — making it ideal for photographers who want the option to work fast without sacrificing precision. It was also one of the first SLRs to feature true spot metering, allowing for highly accurate exposure in challenging lighting conditions.
With its compact and robust body, compatibility with all OM-mount Zuiko lenses, and a bright viewfinder display with LED shutter-speed readout, the OM-2SP remains a favorite among analog enthusiasts and collectors alike.
