Paterson PAT255 Papierafstrijktang

Paterson PAT255 Papierafstrijktang | A paper tool for darkroom work

Paterson’s defining choice is a paper-specific tool: the name PAT255 Papierafstrijktang identifies it as a paper squeegee tong, rather than a general darkroom accessory. That focus makes it relevant when you’re choosing equipment for a particular task involving paper. It suits darkroom users looking for this type of accessory, and it’s best considered for that named paper-working role. The product name also gives you a clear reference: Paterson is the maker, and PAT255 is the model designation. For a specialist item like this, that’s handy when you’re noting down exactly which product you want. I’d treat the name as the guide to its purpose, not as a reason to assume details about its construction or handling. If you’re searching for a Paterson papierafstrijktang, this is the specific model identified by the title.

Darkroom accessories are often chosen by the task they’re intended to support, and the PAT255 is identified specifically with paper. That makes it a focused option for someone putting together or maintaining a darkroom setup, rather than someone looking for a broad, multi-purpose accessory. The Dutch product name is useful to recognise if you’ve come across it in a list or are trying to match a particular item; “paper squeegee tong” is a straightforward English rendering. Keep the model code with the product name when recording your choice, so you can refer to this exact Paterson item later. There’s no need to dress it up: the appeal here is its clear, task-specific identity within the darkroom category.
