PDMovie Motor Drive Cable (6 Pin) - 100 Meter

PDMovie Motor Drive Cable (6 Pin) - 100 Meter | Long cable reach for motor-drive setups

When a motor-drive setup needs a long cable run, this PDMovie cable gives you 100 meters to work with. It has a 6-pin connection, as indicated by its name, and is intended as a motor drive cable. That makes it worth considering when both the connection type and the length suit your setup. The long length is its defining detail; it gives you more distance to plan around than a short cable would. One honest caveat: 100 meters is a lot of cable, so it makes sense when you have a real need for that reach, rather than simply wanting a compact connection. The product name doesn’t identify a particular camera or motor system, so I won’t guess at compatibility. Match the cable to the connection your motor-drive setup requires.

Planning the cable run

With a long run, it helps to think about the route before arranging the rest of the setup. Keep the path clear of places where people need to walk, and leave enough slack for the layout without pulling the cable taut. Any unused length can be gathered neatly out of the way. These are simple practical steps, but they make a long cable easier to manage during setup and pack-down. The useful question is whether your working arrangement calls for this much reach; if it does, the 100-meter length is the key detail to consider. The 6-pin designation is the other one to match to your requirements. Those two details are the clearest guide to whether this cable belongs in your setup.
