PDMovie Motor Drive Cable (6 Pin) - 50 Meter

PDMovie Motor Drive Cable (6 Pin) - 50 Meter | Long reach for motor-drive setups

The defining choice is the 50-metre length: this cable is for motor-drive setups where a short run won’t do. PDMovie identifies it as a 6-pin motor drive cable, giving you two details to match to your setup: the pin designation and the length. It suits camera operators and crews who already know they need this cable format and have a longer route to cover. Its straightforward benefit is reach. There’s no need to read extra capabilities into the product name; it identifies a motor drive cable, its 6-pin designation and its length. If those are the details your setup calls for, this is the specific PDMovie cable to consider. A run of this length takes some planning, so work out where it needs to go before positioning your equipment.

Planning the cable run

Start by tracing the route between the points your setup requires, rather than laying the cable out as you go. That makes it easier to spot walkways, tight turns and places where the route might get in the way. Decide where the cable will pass and where you can keep it clear of foot traffic; a little forethought can save time once the equipment is in position. If the route changes during setup, pause and check it again instead of pulling the cable into place under tension. These are practical considerations for working with a long cable run, not additional features of this product. The key is to plan the path around your working area and keep the cable route easy to follow.
