Permajet Fibre Based Matt 285G A3+ 25SH

Permajet Fibre Based Matt 285G A3+ 25SH | A generous-size matte photo paper

What sets this Permajet paper apart is its fibre-based construction and matte finish, in an A3+ format. It’s for photographers who want to make photo prints on a surface that isn’t glossy, and who need sheets for larger-format work. The pack contains 25 sheets, so it gives you a defined quantity for a print project or for trying the paper with a selection of images. At 285g, it’s a substantial-weight paper; that figure is useful when you’re comparing paper options for a particular print job. The key decision is the finish: matte has a different look from glossy, and it won’t suit every image or presentation. If that’s the finish you’re after, this is a straightforward option to consider for A3+ photographic prints.

Choosing a matte paper

When choosing photo paper, start with the image and how you want the finished print to look. A matte surface is a considered choice, rather than a neutral substitute for glossy paper. It can suit images where you want the paper itself to have a quieter presence, though the right finish is ultimately a matter of taste and subject. For a batch of prints, it’s sensible to decide which images belong together and whether they’ll all benefit from the same surface before using the sheets. The 25-sheet pack gives you a set amount to plan around. If you’re weighing up paper for a specific project, compare the format, finish and weight with what you have in mind; those are the clearest points of reference for this product. There’s no need to overcomplicate it: choose it because you want fibre-based matte paper in A3+, not because one finish is right for every photograph.
