Revar Cine 4x5.65/138mm Close Up Diopter Triple Tray
Revar Cine 4x5.65/138mm Close Up Diopter Triple Tray | Bring close details into your cine setup
When a shot needs a closer view than your lens’s usual focusing range allows, a close-up diopter can help bring the subject nearer without changing the scene. The Revar Cine Close Up Diopter Triple Tray is made for that kind of cine setup, with a 4x5.65/138mm format named in its title. It suits filmmakers planning close detail shots, such as product inserts or finely framed textures, and crews who want a dedicated tray arrangement for close-up diopter work. The useful point is its specific role: this isn’t a polarising filter or a general-purpose filter description, but a close-up accessory built around the stated cine format. The title also identifies it as a triple tray, so it’s intended as a tray-based part of the setup. The exact close-focus effect depends on the diopter and lens combination, so plan the shot around the result you need.
Specialist Note
The tray format is the first practical detail to consider: this is a 4x5.65/138mm cine accessory, so it belongs in a rig planned around that format, rather than being treated as a small lens-mounted close-up aid. Its close-up diopter purpose makes it relevant for controlled detail work; I’d consider it for a product insert or a tight texture shot, placing the diopter in the optical setup and adjusting focus to bring the subject into the frame at the distance the shot needs. The triple-tray designation is useful when you’re planning a tray-based filter arrangement. One honest caveat: the title gives no diopter strength, so I wouldn’t assume a particular magnification or working distance from the product name alone.
