The Kase Revolution ENTRY ND kit is a versatile photographic accessory featuring ND8, ND64, and CPL magnetic filters. This set is a part of Kase's innovative KW Revolution filter system, known for its color-coded design that simplifies filter identification and interchangeability.
The filters in this kit are marked by distinct colors: the ND8 filter comes in blue, the ND64 is yellow, and the CPL filter is silver. Additionally, the kit includes essential components such as adapter rings, a filter holder, and a front lens cap.
Built upon the foundation of the renowned Wolverine series, the KW Revolution filters are fully compatible with previous Wolverine models, allowing for seamless integration. These filters are constructed from shock-resistant and water-resistant optical glass, ensuring durability while minimizing color cast.
One notable feature of the KW Revolution series is its magnetic design, complemented by a threaded front for additional versatility. This allows users to securely attach filters in a way that was differently executed in the earlier Wolverine series.
The kit comes with both a standard magnetic adapter, which screws onto the lens, and a recessed magnetic adapter that provides a streamlined fit. This recessed adapter attaches very closely to the front lens element, reducing the gap between the lens and the filter to nearly negligible levels, which is particularly beneficial when using wide-angle lenses. The filter clicks securely onto the adapter via magnetic attraction. Users can stack up to four filters from either the KW Revolution series or the prior Wolverine series, with the ability to rotate filters independently.
