SanDisk Phone Drive 512GB USB-C 3.2 150MB/s Maritime Blue

SanDisk Phone Drive 512GB USB-C 3.2 150MB/s Maritime Blue | Keep files close at hand

Instead of relying on the storage on the device you’re using, a USB stick gives you a separate place for files. The SanDisk Phone Drive has 512GB of capacity, a USB-C connection and a stated speed of 150MB/s, in a Maritime Blue finish. It’s aimed at people looking for a portable way to keep or move files, with plenty of room for a larger collection rather than just a handful of documents. The speed figure gives you a useful point of comparison when choosing a drive, though actual transfers can depend on the devices and files involved. SanDisk calls this model a Phone Drive; the title alone doesn’t establish which specific devices it works with, so it’s sensible to consider your own setup before buying. Its appeal is straightforward: substantial capacity in a USB stick format.

Think about how you want to use the space before choosing a drive. If you’re organising files to carry with you, 512GB leaves room to keep a broader selection together; if you only need to transfer a small amount now and then, that capacity may be more than you need. The USB-C connection and USB 3.2 designation are useful details to compare against the equipment you intend to connect, while 150MB/s is the stated speed to bear in mind. Those figures make this a specific option to weigh up, rather than a vague “extra storage” purchase. The honest caveat is that a connector and a speed rating alone don’t tell the whole story of how a drive will perform in your setup. Choose it for the capacity and stated transfer speed, and make sure those suit the way you plan to handle your files.
