Seagate ONE Touch Desktop w/ Hub 20TB 3.5IN HD

Seagate ONE Touch Desktop w/ Hub 20TB 3.5IN HD | Room for a larger library

Running short on storage space can turn every new project into a choice about what to move or delete. The Seagate ONE Touch Desktop w/ Hub gives you 20TB of capacity in a 3.5-inch external hard drive, so it can take on a substantial photo, video or document archive. It’s a desktop model, suited to a place where you keep your main storage rather than something you plan around a pocket or camera bag. The “with Hub” part is also in the model name, making this the ONE Touch Desktop version that includes a hub. If you want one named drive with a particularly generous stated capacity, that’s the practical appeal here. There’s no need to dress it up: the key reason to consider it is having 20TB available for files that have outgrown smaller storage.

Making use of a large drive

A 20TB drive can give an existing archive room to grow, or let you bring files from several smaller drives together. Before copying everything across, it’s worth deciding how you want to find things later: for example, make top-level folders for broad groups such as photos, video and documents, then sort within them by year or project. That small bit of planning can save time when the drive holds a lot of material.

One sensible point: a single drive is still a single place for your files. If the contents matter, keep another copy separately rather than treating extra capacity as a substitute for a backup. The Seagate’s 20TB capacity gives you room to organise a sizeable collection; how you protect that collection is still up to your storage plan.
