Shape HAC300 Canon C100 C300 C500 Bracket
Shape HAC300 Canon C100 C300 C500 Bracket | Added support for handheld video
Shape HAC300 Canon C100 C300 C500 Bracket is a black shoulder rig for handheld video work. It’s built for operators using a Canon C100, C300 or C500 who want extra support while filming without a fixed tripod. Think of it as a shoulder-support option for takes where you need to reposition or follow the action, rather than as a general camera accessory. That can suit interview coverage, event footage or a short moving shot, where holding a camera unsupported may become tiring and framing can wander. Its job is straightforward: support handheld camera work at the shoulder. It makes sense in a video setup that alternates between static tripod shots and moving coverage. The black finish keeps the rig visually low-key on set. This is a focused bracket for the Canon models named in its title, not a complete filming solution; choose it for supported handheld operation, rather than expecting it to replace a tripod or stabilize a shot on its own.
Specialist Note
A seated interview is underway, and the camera needs to move from a wide frame to a closer one without stopping the conversation. That’s the kind of handheld job where this shoulder rig has a clear role. Its design is for extra support, so I’d keep the camera settled against the shoulder and move smoothly for a short follow shot; for an interview, that can help make a longer handheld take more manageable. The HAC300 is intended for the Canon C100, C300 and C500, which makes it a specific option for operators working with those cameras. I also like that the black finish stays understated on set. It’s support, not a substitute for a tripod when you need a locked-off frame.
