Sirui 20mm T1.8 1.33X S35 AF Anamorphic Lens (E Mount Blue Flare) combines a 1.33x anamorphic design with autofocus for filmmakers who want a widescreen look without giving up the convenience of AF. It’s made for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras and suits video makers working on music videos, short films, interviews or other planned scenes. The 20mm focal length and 71° angle of view give you room to include a subject and some of their surroundings, while the blue-flare look adds a distinct character to bright lights in frame. Its T1.8 maximum aperture is useful when you need to work with less light or want more control over exposure. An anamorphic lens also changes the shape of the recorded image: plan to desqueeze the footage in post-production to view the intended widescreen picture. This is a specialist video lens, rather than an everyday general-purpose option.
