Sirui Saturn 1.6X FullFrame Anamorphic Lens Set E Mount (50MM&75mm Blue Flare) | Cinematic framing across two focal lengths

Sirui Saturn 1.6X FullFrame Anamorphic Lens Set E Mount (50MM&75mm Blue Flare) pairs a 1.6x anamorphic look with 50mm and 75mm focal lengths. It’s built for Sony E-mount, full-frame filmmakers who want an expressive widescreen feel and the option to choose between two distinct framings. The 50mm gives you more room around a subject; the 75mm makes it easier to give a face or detail a stronger presence in the frame. The blue-flare character adds a recognisable visual accent when light sources enter the composition. This set makes sense for narrative work, music videos and carefully composed portraits where lens character is part of the look, rather than an effect added later. With two focal lengths, you can vary your framing, though you’ll need to reposition the camera when neither gives you the view you want.

Specialist Note

The 1.6x anamorphic rendering rewards a little thought before you roll: compose for the wider, cinematic feel, then choose the focal length that gives your subject the right place in the frame. I’d use the 50mm for a portrait with some surroundings still visible, and the 75mm when a performance or a face should take more of the image. Full-frame coverage makes this a natural fit for a full-frame Sony E-mount setup; the anamorphic character is the reason to choose it, not a general-purpose framing solution. The blue flare can become part of a backlit scene’s look, but the two focal lengths leave a real gap between available views.
