Sirui Sniper 16mm f/1.2 Aps-C/S35 Auto-Focus Lens (X Mount White) | Broad views for landscapes and architecture

Fit more of a landscape, building or night sky into your frame with the Sirui Sniper 16mm f/1.2. This white-finish interchangeable lens is made for Fujifilm X-mount APS-C cameras, with autofocus to help you compose and focus without switching to manual operation. Its 16mm focal length gives a wide perspective, and the stated 83° angle of view makes it particularly suited to landscapes, architecture and astro photography. It’s a specialist prime for photographers who want to work with a broad view rather than zoom in on distant details. Use it to take in more of a façade from a nearby street, or to give a night-sky composition room for both the stars and the landscape below. The result is an expansive frame with a clear sense of place.

Specialist Note

The Sirui Sniper 16mm f/1.2 is at its best when you need a wide view in dim light. On an APS-C Fujifilm X body, that framing is comparable to a 24mm lens on full frame, so it feels broad without being an extreme, all-encompassing view. The f/1.2 maximum aperture lets in plenty of light; for astro work, open it fully and use a short exposure to help keep stars looking like points. For architecture, step back to include more of the façade and keep the camera level to help control converging verticals. It’s less suited to tight portraits, where 16mm will show plenty of the surroundings.
