SmallHD Gold Mount Battery Plate for MON-503 & MON-703
SmallHD Gold Mount Battery Plate for MON-503 & MON-703 | Match your monitor to a Gold Mount setup
On a field-monitor rig, it helps when the monitor’s battery plate matches the battery format you’ve chosen for the setup. This SmallHD Gold Mount Battery Plate is designed for use with the MON-503 and MON-703 monitors, making it a model-specific option for owners of either display who want a Gold Mount battery arrangement. It’s relevant for location work as well as a monitor positioned on a production cart: in both cases, the plate connects the monitor choice to the Gold Mount format used in your power plan. The product name gives the key buying details—the brand, battery-plate type and the two monitor models it’s for. It doesn’t describe a general-purpose monitor accessory; its stated fit is specifically for the MON-503 and MON-703. If one of those is your monitor and Gold Mount is the format you need, this is the plate to consider.
Specialist Note
Keeping your monitor’s battery setup in step with the rest of the rig is one less detail to juggle. I’d look at this plate when the monitor is a SmallHD MON-503 or MON-703 and you want to use the Gold Mount format for that setup. It suits a field rig where the monitor travels with the production, and a cart setup where the display stays with the crew; in either case, choose it specifically for one of those two named monitors. The useful point is that the product is tied to those models, rather than being presented as a universal plate. It’s a focused power accessory, so it makes sense when Gold Mount is already the format you need.
