The SmallRig Lightweight Baseplate featuring Dual 15mm Rod Clamp in its magnesium alloy iteration is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Magnesium Alloy Cage 3065. This unique design assures that the distance from the center of the lens to the center of the rods is precisely 85mm. An exceptional characteristic of this baseplate is that it is constructed from a magnesium-aluminum alloy, making it roughly 40% lighter than its traditional aluminum counterparts.

A notable feature of the SmallRig Lightweight Baseplate is its detachable pad that effortlessly allows for adjustments in height. The underside of the 3067 model is fitted with a standard ARRI quick-release plate interface, equipped with numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes. This makes for fast and easy disassembly and reassembly and also offers the ability to quickly switch this baseplate onto other types of quick-release plates. The top side is embedded with a standard Manfrotto quick-release plate interface, enabling swift transitioning onto the stabilizer.
