SmallRig 3498B V Mount Battery Adapter Plate (Basic Version) w/ Dual Rod Clamp

SmallRig 3498B V Mount Battery Adapter Plate (Basic Version) w/ Dual Rod Clamp | A V-mount plate with dual-rod support

Without a dedicated plate, adding a V-mount battery to a rig can mean piecing the mounting arrangement together separately. The SmallRig 3498B brings a V Mount battery adapter plate and a dual rod clamp into one named component. It’s aimed at camera operators and crew building a rig around that combination, rather than anyone looking for a general battery accessory. The Basic Version designation is part of the product name, so you can distinguish it when comparing SmallRig options. Its main appeal is straightforward: the product is specifically identified as both a V Mount battery adapter plate and a dual rod clamp. That makes it relevant when those are the two parts you’re looking to bring into the same setup. It’s a focused bit of rig hardware; the name tells you what kind of component it is, without dressing it up as a complete rig solution.

A focused part of a rig

When choosing a component for a camera build, it helps to start with the job you need it to do. Here, the useful identifiers are right in the product name: SmallRig 3498B, Basic Version, V Mount battery adapter plate, and dual rod clamp. Those details give you a clear way to compare it with other rig parts and decide whether this is the type of mounting component your build calls for. The rod clamp wording is especially helpful if you’re organising a setup around rods; it distinguishes this plate from a battery plate described without that feature. Keep the decision practical: consider how a V-mount battery plate and a dual-rod clamp fit into the arrangement you’re putting together. This is a specific component, not a promise of a ready-made setup.
