SmallRig 4340 NP F Battery Adapter Mount Plate Kit For Canon EOS R5 / R5C

SmallRig 4340 NP F Battery Adapter Mount Plate Kit For Canon EOS R5 / R5C | Build around NP-F batteries

When you’re planning a Canon EOS R5 or R5C setup around NP-F batteries, the SmallRig 4340 is the specific adapter mount plate kit to consider. Its name tells you the key details: it’s an NP-F battery adapter mount plate kit, and it’s intended for those two Canon camera models. That makes it a focused accessory rather than a general-purpose camera plate. The useful question is simple: does an NP-F battery belong in the power plan for your R5 or R5C setup? If it does, this kit is designed for that combination. I’d keep the exact model names in mind when choosing accessories; with camera rig parts, a close-sounding product name isn’t a substitute for the stated fit. This one names the R5 and R5C directly.

The kit’s title also sets a clear boundary around its purpose. It brings together an adapter and mount plate in an NP-F battery setup, rather than suggesting a standalone charger or a different battery format. That distinction matters when you’re sorting parts for a camera build: you can identify the battery family and the camera models it’s made for before adding it to your setup. The name is unusually helpful here, because it points to both the battery format and the intended cameras without relying on broad compatibility claims.

For an EOS R5 or R5C owner, this is worth considering when an NP-F-based arrangement is part of the plan. If you’re selecting from a list of rig accessories, use the model and battery format in the product name as your guide. It’s a narrowly described kit, and that’s the honest appeal: it’s aimed at a particular camera pairing and battery format, not presented as a universal solution. Choose it for that stated purpose.
